Dick Cheney does not want to be your friend. He doesn’t even care if you even like him. All Dick Cheney cares about are results. Call him “old fashioned” but Dick Cheney thinks politicians should lead by their gut, not by public opinion polls. Frankly, Dick Cheney doesn’t care what you think. As president of the United States, he’ll do all the thinking for you.
If you want a president who you can have a beer with, don’t vote for Dick Cheney. However, if you’re tired of rhetoric; if you’re tired of the endless squabbling in Washington; if you’re tired of politicians who constantly worry about the law and international perceptions; if you’re tired of politicians who spend more time with image consultants than they do with military advisors, then Dick Cheney is your candidate. Dick Cheney has the hard answers to the tough issues of the day and isn’t afraid to make them, no matter what you, or anyone else thinks.
